Fanny's Restaurant: A Delightful American Diner Experience Awaits

We went to Fanny's for the first time in many years, due largely to the fact that we rarely go out for breakfast. We honestly weren't sure they were still open, since there hadn't been any advertising in a long time until recently, but they definitely are open for breakfast and lunch. They have retained their license to serve beer and wine after closing a brewpub facility in the backroom a while ago, so customers can get a beer with lunch. Service was about as close to perfect as it gets, i.e. attentive without being too much. We thought the menu was pretty extensive and my omelet and husband's scrambled eggs with ham and sides were obviously scratch made with large portions. The home fries (Fanny fries) are some of the best I've had and they made the hashbrowns crispy as requested. Coffee was good quality and they came around frequently for refills. It sure was nice getting something other than "mixed fruit" jelly and I got honey for my fluffy biscuit. Extra points for having the green hot sauce, turkey sausage option, and the policy of allowing split plates. They also have smaller portions for less money. All the food going by us looked good and the size of the juice glasses was generous. There is lots of parking and the place has plenty of tables even to accommodate larger groups. We'll be back!

I've become a regular here over the past year. I love coming here and grabbing breakfast. The ladies that work at Fanny's are so nice and happily interact with you every time. It can be so difficult to find a restaurant with consistently good service- even when it's packed. They have many lunch options, a special once a week, and house made soups that are amazing! The breakfast options aren't as vast as ihop or Patty's Eggsnest, but they do have things like a seafood benedict (order your English muffins extra toasted and for your potatoes choose Fanny fries + diced pepper & onion). They also have beer and mimosa options! It's a nice family owned spot. Definitely feels good supporting local too! Nice spot to meet with friends or family as they have larger table options.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Service was good even though they were very busy. Fanny's was typical diner decor and atmosphere.

Staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean and inviting. Service was quick even though they were pretty packed. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with hash browns. The sausage patty with the biscuit was huge and definitely homemade. Eggs were well cooked and everything tasted wonderful. Overall a great diner experience.

If you are looking for a home style restaurant, family run, old school vibe, exceptional service and good food I highly recommend Fanny's!!! We came right in time before the line was literally out the door when we left!! All the staff are super friendly, service is quick and food is delicious!!! I had a Taco omelette with hash browns, your have choice of hash browns or Fanny fries. Also comes with toast or biscuit. There are also substitutions if you don't want any of the items which is a cool idea!! The only negative thing I have it was a lot of egg for the omelette so I opened it up and just eat half. Eggs were cooked through and fluffy to much for my liking but others might enjoy!! Lots of flavors in the omelette and hash browns came crispy just how I like them!! My bf ordered Club croissant and added cabbage soup!! He said the soup was delicious and you can tell it was homemade with lots of flavors. Only negative thing about the sandwich not enough mayo a thin spread. Can't wait to go back and try something new!! Thanks Fanny for a great experience!

We're not from this area, but highly recommend this older restaurant. Food was really good and plenty of it. Wait staff was great!

Very sweet breakfast and lunch place. Surprised they don't have longer hours! We enjoyed the clam chowder (nice pieces of clams), the French dip (big, though almost too much roll), and two deli sandwiches. I had the roast beef and cheddar. Had it on a lovely whole wheat bread with crunchy lettuce and onion and a tomato that tasted like tomato. It really was a perfect deli sandwich. I had it with Cole slaw as my side. It was simple but good. Another had a turkey sandwich, also enjoyed. She had the fries - nice and crispy, some of the best fries we've had in a while. The place is nice, and really clean. Great spot to try!
